VeriSTAR Stability is a marine software package intended to calculate intact and damage stability together with longitudinal strength based on exact calculations from ship's 3D model.

VeriSTAR Stability is designed to first enable it's user to rapidly create a ship's hull and compartments. The user is then capable to produce stability and strength calculations and to manipulate ship's model accordingly until the design objectives are met.

During this iterative process, the user can visually observe and evaluate otherwise complex cause and effect relations directly in digital ship model. VeriSTAR stability enables a professional to use his expertise and imagination to its limits, testing all the options and variants of the design in a very early stage of a ship production process.

After the optimum design is chosen, VeriSTAR will, on a push of a button, produce all the reports, calculations, statutory documents and other documentation.

It's user friendly interface is based on Microsoft Windows standard interface, extended with advanced graphic interactive methods for manipulating ship's hull. Data is organized on a ship by ship basis and each ship may have many different states, as defined by the user.

Appendages are created from a large range of geometric primitive shapes which may be compounded with hull using Boolean logic.

For a maximum flexibility, input of complementary data and appraisal of criteria is piloted by scripts.
