01.04.2009. Capt. Nikša Zrnčić retired from Managing Director position

Capt. Nikša Zrnčić, director and founder of Conmar, has fulfilled his decision to retire from Conmar. His last day at work was April 1, 2009 when we all had a farewell celebration.

Under Nikša's leadership for the past 20 years, Conmar has succesfully sailed trough rough seas of war and democratic transition in Croatia. Nikša was, for all these years, steady at the helm and somehow always managed to find the right direction to steer our ship amidst all the troubles in our course, and in the end succeeded to set out for us a more calm and enjoyable voyage that we all look forward to take.

Nikša has always done a great job establishing positive working relationships with Conmar staff, our partners and clients. Conmar has over the years, in large part thanks to Nikša's enthusiastic character and professionalism, grown to be the most respected firm in our business in Croatia, with numerous satisfied customers in our homeland, but also abroad, on all continents.

His leadership, vision, and tireless energy will be missed, but not entirely since Nikša will retain position as board adviser for many happy years to come.

05.09.2007. First Trim & Stability booklet generated by VeriSTAR approved by a classification society.

Trim and Stability Booklet for m/v "Fenella", the first Trim & Stability booklet generated entirely by using VeriSTAR Stability's automatic document generation feature, has been approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping.

 

21.02.2007. First loading computer software for DNV LSC-DC Class.

Conmar delivered LoadSafe 4.0 program for m/t "Marilee" at Split Shipyard, Croatia, which meets requirements of DNV Class notation LCS-DC. This program will be installed on next six sister ships.
